Primary Educators (Female preferred)

Job Summary

• This Montessori School is seeking passionate, dedicated, and teachable educators to join its Nursery and Primary sections. 
• The ideal candidates should possess a genuine love for teaching children, demonstrate good character, communicate effectively, and be willing to grow and build a long-term career with the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and child-friendly learning environment.
• Effectively manage classroom activities and maintain discipline.
• Assess pupils' academic progress and provide appropriate support.
• Prepare lesson notes, teaching aids, and instructional materials.
• Maintain accurate attendance and academic records.
• Promote pupils' intellectual, emotional, social, and moral development.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and training programmes.
• Communicate professionally with parents and school management.
• Perform other teaching-related duties assigned by the school.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of an ND, HND, or B.Sc Degree
• Minimum of a year teaching experience in a Nursery or Primary school.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Patient, caring, and passionate about working with children.
• Good moral character and professional attitude.
• Teachable, adaptable, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Commitment to long-term employment with the school.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Female candidates are preferred.
• Well-behaved and responsible.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eager to grow professionally.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Dedicated to providing quality education.

Employment Conditions:

• Successful candidates are expected to resume on or before early August.
• Candidates must provide at least two guarantors before resumption.
• Successful applicants will be required to sign an undertaking to remain with the school for a minimum of one year.

Salary
N70,000 per month.
