Head of Fashion Production

Job Description

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develops master production timelines, schedules, and resource allocations based on collection drops, fashion weeks, and sales targets.
• Supply Chain & Sourcing: Manages relationships with fabric mills, trim suppliers, manufacturers, and external vendors; negotiates costs, contracts, and delivery dates.
• Quality Control & Standards: Enforces strict quality assurance (QA) protocols across pattern-making, cutting, sewing, and finishing to preserve brand integrity.
• Budget & Cost Management: Oversees production expenditures, tracks manufacturing costs, and implements cost-saving workflows without compromising garment quality.
• Team Leadership & Supervision: Leads, trains, and manages internal production teams, tailors, pattern makers, embellishers, and floor supervisors.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with designers, merchandising, and sales teams to translate creative concepts into market-ready pieces.
• Inventory & Compliance: Monitors raw material and finished goods inventory while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
