Role Description:

• Retail Sales Team/Lead is responsible for supervising and supporting a team of sales associates/analysts to drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure the efficient operation of the retail unit. This role involves providing leadership, coaching, and training to ensure that sales targets are met while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates to achieve individual and team sales goals. 
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. 
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate sales targets, and motivational strategies. 
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff members. 
• Initiate Key Retail Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, agents, campaigns initiatives etc to ensure alignment of sales strategies, product offerings, and promotional campaigns. 
• Ensure that sales associates are meeting and exceeding their sales targets through coaching and performance feedback. 
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their needs, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints or issues. 
• Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities on all CP products. 
• Stay informed about product knowledge, and the latest trends to assist both customers and team members. 
• Ensure the team adheres to company policies, procedures, and standards, including KYC regulations. 
• Ensure proper handling of customer data, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; with a minimum of 5-7years experience, additional education or certification like an MBA is a plus. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. 
• Familiarity with retail industry trends and challenges. 
• Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders. 
• Basic knowledge of sales forecasting. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PPT. 
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is compulsory.
