Customer Service / Sales Representative - Bridal

Job Summary

• Our client, a reputable bridal fashion house in Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking a confident, customer-focused, and sales-driven Customer Service / Sales Representative to join their team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for brides and other clients, understanding their needs, recommending suitable bridal products and services, and converting enquiries into sales.
• The successful candidate must be comfortable working with customers, following up on leads, and meeting sales targets in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customers in-store, via phone, WhatsApp, social media, and other communication channels.
• Welcome and professionally engage brides, bridal parties, and other customers.
• Understand customers' preferences, budgets, styles, and requirements to recommend suitable products.
• Provide detailed information about bridal gowns, accessories, fittings, alterations, and other available services.
• Convert customer enquiries and leads into sales.
• Follow up with prospective customers to close pending sales and appointments.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Handle customer complaints and enquiries professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate customer appointments, fittings, and follow-up sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, orders, payments, and follow-ups.
• Work towards achieving assigned sales targets and contributing to overall revenue growth.
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant products and bridal accessories where appropriate.
• Keep customers updated on order status, fittings, alterations, and collection dates.
• Collaborate with the production, styling, and management teams to ensure smooth customer service delivery.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the brand's image at all times.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service, Sales, Retail, Fashion, Hospitality, or a related role.
• Experience working in a bridal shop, fashion house, boutique, luxury retail, or similar environment is an added advantage.
• Strong sales and customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pleasant, confident, and professional personality.
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to handle demanding customers and resolve complaints professionally.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, Instagram, and other digital communication platforms for customer engagement.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with sales targets and performance expectations.
• Must be customer-oriented, proactive, and detail-conscious.
• Must be resident in or around Ikeja, Lagos, or be able to commute conveniently.

Salary
₦120,000 – ₦150,000 monthly, depending on experience and competence.
