Pizza Maker / Baker

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients.
• Assemble pizzas according to approved recipes and customer orders.
• Operate ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene within the kitchen and preparation areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Properly store food items and ingredients to prevent contamination and waste.
• Prepare customer orders accurately and within required timelines.
• Assist with stock checks and inform the supervisor when ingredients are running low.
• Minimize food wastage through proper portion control and handling.
• Work closely with other kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent with 1-3 years experience. 
• Previous experience as a Pizza Maker, Kitchen Assistant, Cook, or in a similar food-service role is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic food preparation and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
