Archivist / Bookkeeping Officer

Summary
- The Archivist / Bookkeeping Officer is responsible for maintaining organized records, managing document archives, and supporting accurate financial record-keeping.
- The role ensures easy retrieval of company documents while maintaining up-to-date bookkeeping records and financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, maintain, and securely store physical and electronic company records.
- Develop and maintain filing and archiving systems for easy document retrieval.
- Record, classify, and update financial transactions in accounting records.
- Maintain petty cash records and reconcile expenses.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on document retention and records management.
- Monitor document confidentiality and data security.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Records Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, records management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and document control procedures.
- Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Preferably: Male
- Candidates must have likely worked in a hospital or organization where a large volume of documents is handled, and ensure you have interviewed the candidate.
