Business Development Executive

Job Description
- A reputable company in the oil & gas sector is seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with strong experience in identifying and securing business opportunities within the Nigerian oil & gas industry.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning contracts from NOCs and IOCs, and strong familiarity with industry regulatory and procurement platforms such as Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Nigerian Upstream Investment Management Services (NUIMS), and Nigerian Petroleum Exchange (NIPEX).
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities in procurement, project management services, and manpower supply projects, while maintaining strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with NOCs and IOCs in the oil & gas sector.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s market presence.
- Identify and track tender opportunities on NIPEX and other industry procurement platforms.
- Lead the pre-bid and bid strategy process, including opportunity qualification and proposal positioning.
- Support the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for procurement, project management, and manpower supply contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across regulatory bodies, operators, and industry partners.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure competitive bid positioning and project execution readiness.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry engagements, meetings, and stakeholder interactions.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and track business development performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 4–6 years relevant experience in business development within the oil & gas industry.
- Proven track record of securing contracts with NOCs and IOCs.
- Strong understanding of industry regulatory frameworks and procurement processes, including NUPRC, NUIMS, and NIPEX.
- Experience supporting or coordinating tender and proposal submissions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Ability to identify and convert opportunities into revenue-generating projects.
Salary
N600,000 - N800,000 / Month.
