Offshore Documentation Technician

About the Role
- We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Documentation Technician to support Quality documentation and document control activities. The role will be responsible for preparing, issuing, controlling, and following up on Quality documentation, maintaining controlled and Master Copies in the field, supporting NDT documentation, and ensuring proper organization and traceability of QC records.
- The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office, and capable of working independently, taking initiative, and following up on activities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, issue, control, and follow up on Quality reports and related documentation.
- Manage controlled copies and Master Copies in the field, ensuring the latest approved documents are available at the worksite.
- Assist with the preparation and control of NDT requisitions and related documentation.
- Follow up on QC documentation, inspection records, and outstanding Quality-related actions.
- Support Zeppelin and GO HUB activities, acting as a documentation and commissioning interface when required.
- Provide general administrative and documentation support to the QC team, ensuring proper organization, traceability, and timely distribution of Quality documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- ND / HND / B.Sc. in Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in technical documentation, document control, Quality/QC documentation, or a related function is desirable.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and document-control skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
- Highly proactive, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow up on activities without constant supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple activities, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
