Waiter

Role purpose

• Provide welcoming and attentive service while accurately taking, serving and billing guest orders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tables and service stations and maintain a clean, orderly dining area.
• Welcome guests, explain the menu and recommend appropriate meals and beverages.
• Ask about allergies, communicate them through the approved process and avoid making unverified assurances.
• Enter orders accurately in the POS and coordinate with the kitchen and bar.
• Serve orders, check guest satisfaction, clear tables and report complaints or delays promptly.
• Present accurate bills, process payments as assigned and hand over cash through approved controls.

Qualifications and experience

• SSCE minimum. Hospitality or customer-service training is an advantage.
• Restaurant service experience preferred; strong entry-level candidates may be considered after assessment.
• Good spoken communication, numeracy, grooming, teamwork and willingness to learn.

Salary
N90,000 - N120,000 monthly.
