About the Role

• We are seeking a commercially driven and highly organised Head of Sales & Operations to oversee sales performance, coordinate the sales team, manage daily business operations, and drive revenue growth for our bespoke kaftan and menswear business.
• The ideal candidate must be capable of selling personally, leading sales representatives and agents, tracking performance against targets, and ensuring that orders move efficiently from customer enquiry to payment and delivery.
• This is a hybrid role that combines hands-on sales leadership with operational management.
• The successful candidate will be accountable for both personal sales results and the overall effectiveness of the sales function.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership and Revenue Growth

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Personally sell a minimum of 20 kaftans per month.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate Sales Associates and Sales Agents.
• Set sales expectations, monitor individual performance, and ensure accountability.
• Identify prospective customers, develop sales opportunities, and build long-term customer relationships.
• Oversee customer follow-ups, lead conversion, negotiation, and closing.
• Identify sales bottlenecks and implement measures to improve conversion rates.

Sales Team Management

• Coordinate the activities of the sales team and ensure each team member understands their targets.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
• Review sales reports, customer enquiries, conversion rates, and outstanding leads.
• Coach team members on product knowledge, objection handling, follow-up techniques,and closing strategies.
• Recommend performance improvements and escalate persistent underperformance.
• Ensure the team maintains professional communication with customers.

Business Operations

• Coordinate the sales process from enquiry and order confirmation through payment,
• production coordination, and delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, order trackers, and performancereports.
• Work with relevant internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, complaints, returns, and other order-related issues.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure that sales activities follow approved pricing, payment, and customer-serviceprocedures.

Reporting and Performance Management

• Submit regular sales and operational performance reports to management.
• Track revenue, units sold, team performance, conversion rates, and outstanding orders.
• Provide clear explanations for missed targets and propose corrective actions.
• Forecast sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Maintain transparent records of personal sales and team-generated sales.

Compensation breakdown:

• Base salary: ₦300,000 per month.
• Target achievement incentive: An additional ₦200,000 upon achieving the monthlytarget of 20 kaftans, bringing total monthly earnings to ₦500,000.
• Overachievement incentive: Total monthly earnings increase to ₦600,000 when theapplicable higher-performance threshold is achieved.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in sales, sales management, business operations, or a related
• commercial role.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and close customer enquiries.
• Strong leadership, team coordination, and performance-management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to analyse sales figures and produce clear performance reports.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence working with digital sales channels, social media enquiries, spreadsheets,and customer-management tools.
• Experience in fashion, luxury retail, bespoke clothing, or premium customer service is anadvantage.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for measurableoutcomes.
