Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, especially in basic electrical systems, and be able to respond quickly to maintenance issues while ensuring a safe and functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and ensure smooth running of the building
• Carry out routine inspections of electrical systems, lighting, and general infrastructure
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Supervise cleaners, technicians, and external contractors
• Handle basic electrical faults and escalate complex issues where necessary
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Manage utility usage (electricity, water, generators, etc.) efficiently
• Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and service records
• Respond promptly to facility emergencies and breakdowns
• Monitor asset condition and recommend repairs or replacements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in facility management or related role
• Strong or basic electrical knowledge (wiring, faults diagnosis, load issues, etc.)
• B.Sc/HND or OND degree. 
• Hands-on, practical problem solver.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Available to resume work immediately or within short notice
• Knowledge of building systems (plumbing, generators is an advantage)
