IT Consultant

Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and solution-driven IT Consultant to join our team in Lagos.
• The ideal candidate should be confident working with clients, comfortable exploring new technologies, and able to take ownership of projects from start to finish with minimal supervision. You should be able to understand business needs, identify practical technology solutions, and turn ideas into working digital products or systems.
• This role will involve working on websites, AI-powered solutions, workflow automation, system improvements, and other technology projects for ARO and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business needs and deliver practical IT solutions.
• Build, manage, and improve websites using WIX Studio, WordPress, Lovable, and similar platforms.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Replit, and other emerging tools to improve workflows and develop solutions.
• Create and implement workflow automations using Make.com, Zapier, and similar platforms.
• Test, troubleshoot, improve, and implement systems that increase efficiency and productivity.
• Take ownership of technology projects from planning and development through to implementation and delivery.
• Research new technologies, platforms, and tools and recommend solutions that can improve business processes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and introduce more efficient ways of working.
• Communicate regularly with clients, understand their requirements, provide updates, and support ongoing engagements.
• Support the development of new client relationships and identify potential business opportunities.
• Document solutions, processes, and project outcomes where required.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, AI tools, automation platforms, and digital trends.

Requirements

• Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Other relevant degrees may also be considered.
• Proven experience working on real-life technology projects or with clients.
• A portfolio demonstrating websites, digital products, automations, systems, or other technology projects you have built or contributed to.
• Good working knowledge of WIX Studio and WordPress.
• Experience with or familiarity with Lovable or similar AI-powered development tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Replit, or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of automation tools such as Make.com and Zapier.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Must have a working laptop.
• Must be able to provide professional references.
