Kitchen Assistance

Reports To: Head Chef / Cook Job Summary The Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team by ensuring ingredients are prepared, kitchen areas are clean and organized, utensils and equipment are properly maintained, and food preparation activities run smoothly. The role is essential in maintaining hygiene standards, supporting efficient kitchen operations, and contributing to the timely delivery of quality meals. Key Responsibilities Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as directed. Assist the Chef or Cook in basic food preparation tasks. Portion ingredients according to recipes and production requirements. Kitchen Cleaning & Hygiene Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment after use. Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely. Report faulty equipment or maintenance issues immediately. Education Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
