Area Sales Officer

Job Summary

The Area Sales Officer will be responsible for developing and managing distributors, increasing product availability, driving sales growth, recruiting resellers, and expanding Nenu Stoves' presence within the assigned territory.

The successful candidate must possess strong sales, relationship management, negotiation, and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets. 
• Recruit, train, and support distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and sales agents. 
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the assigned territory. 
• Increase market penetration and product visibility. 
• Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and institutional customers. 
• Ensure timely order collection, product delivery, and after-sales support. 
• Organize dealer meetings, roadshows, market activations, and product demonstrations. 
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. 
• Monitor inventory levels within the territory. 
• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to improve products and services. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices. 

Requirements

• HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 2–5 years of sales experience in FMCG, manufacturing, home appliances, building materials, renewable energy, or related industries. 
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. 
• Strong negotiation and communication skills. 
• Experience managing distributors and dealer networks is an advantage. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). 
• Ability to analyse sales data and prepare reports.
