Assistant Lecturer (Nursing Science)

Minimum Requirements
- Ph.D. in the discipline in Nursing Science (Master's degree acceptable)
- Current registration and valid practising licence with the relevant professional body (NMCN)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Midwife (RM) where applicable
- Valid Annual Practicing Licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Teaching, research, clinical and administrative experience commensurate with the rank
- Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals
- Ability to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must have appropriate teaching, research, clinical and scholarly experience commensurate with the rank sought.
- Candidates must provide evidence of relevant academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals, where applicable.
- Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional regulatory body and possess a valid practising licence where applicable.
- Applicants must demonstrate capacity for teaching, research, mentorship and academic service.
- Candidates must be willing to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, clinical training and other academic responsibilities assigned by the University.
- All academic and professional qualifications must be obtained from recognized institutions and must be verifiable.
