HR & Admin Manager

The HR & Admin Manager will lead all human resource and administrative functions for Adassa Energy Ltd. You’ll be responsible for building a people-first culture, ensuring compliance with Nigerian labor laws, and keeping our operations running smoothly across HR, admin, and facilities. Key Responsibilities Human Resources
- Talent Management: Full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding for office, technical, and project staff
- Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies in line with Nigerian Labor Act, NSITF, PENCOM, ITF, and HSE standards
- Performance: Manage performance reviews, KPIs, career development, and succession planning
- Employee Relations: Handle grievances, disciplinary cases, and foster employee engagement
- Payroll & Benefits: Oversee payroll processing with Finance, manage benefits, leave, and statutory deductions
- Training: Identify training needs and coordinate technical + soft skills training for staff
- Office Management: Oversee office facilities, supplies, vendor management, and maintenance
- Records: Maintain employee files, contracts, and HR database with confidentiality
- Travel & Logistics: Support staff travel, accommodation, and project site logistics as needed
- Compliance: Ensure company licenses, insurance, and regulatory filings related to HR/Admin are up to date
- Culture: Drive initiatives around health & safety, diversity, and employee wellbeing
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field. CIPM or HRCI certification is an advantage
- Experience: 3-4 years HR & Admin experience, with at least 1 years in a managerial role. Energy, engineering, or project-based company experience preferred
- Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Nigerian labor law, payroll, and HR best practices
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive issues
- Tech: Proficient in MS Office, HRIS, and payroll systems
- Attributes: Proactive problem solver, high integrity, and comfortable working in a fast-paced energy environment
