Social Media Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to manage, grow, and strengthen the brand’s presence across major social media platforms.
• The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing business or brand social media accounts with a minimum audience of 1,000 followers, with a strong understanding of content strategy, audience engagement, social media growth, and digital marketing.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, managing online communities, increasing audience engagement, driving brand visibility, and analyzing performance across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective social media strategies aligned with the company’s business and marketing objectives.
• Manage and grow the company’s social media accounts across relevant platforms.
• Develop and maintain content calendars, posting schedules, and social media campaigns.
• Create and coordinate engaging content that aligns with the brand’s identity and target audience.
• Manage online communities and respond professionally to comments, messages, mentions, and customer inquiries.
• Drive audience growth, engagement, reach, and overall brand visibility.
• Monitor social media trends, platform updates, algorithms, and emerging content formats.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and engagement initiatives.
• Track and analyze social media performance using relevant analytics tools and prepare regular performance reports.
• Monitor competitors’ social media activities and identify opportunities for improved brand positioning.
• Work closely with content creators, graphic designers, and other creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Identify opportunities to improve content performance and social media growth.
• Maintain the brand’s online reputation and ensure timely and appropriate responses to audience interactions.
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends, social media tools, best practices, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
• Must have experience managing business/brand social media accounts with at least 1,000 followers.
• Candidates must be able to provide evidence of previous social media accounts/pages they have managed.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
• Proven experience growing social media accounts and improving engagement and reach.
• Strong knowledge of social media analytics, insights, and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication, copywriting, and content-planning skills.
• Strong understanding of audience engagement and online community management.
• Creative, strategic, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple social media platforms, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Canva, and social media analytics tools.
• Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends, algorithms, and content strategies.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
