About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced Key Account Officer to join our Sales team in Abuja.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving primary sales, developing distributor relationships and expanding the company's presence across key channels and accounts.
- This is a target-driven role for someone who understands the FMCG market, knows how to develop accounts and can translate sales opportunities into measurable revenue.
What You Will Do
- Identify, prospect and onboard new distributors and key accounts.
- Drive primary sales and achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key accounts.
- Identify sales opportunities across supermarkets, hotels, bars, general trade and other relevant FMCG channels.
- Manage assigned accounts and ensure consistent order generation.
- Monitor sales performance, customer activity and account growth.
- Negotiate commercially with prospective and existing accounts where required.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts, sales activities and pipeline opportunities.
- Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure effective order fulfilment.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, market opportunities and challenges.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within FMCG.
- Demonstrable Key Account Management experience.
- Experience managing accounts across supermarkets, hotels, bars, distributors or general trade.
- Strong understanding of primary sales and distributor development.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Proven ability to work with sales targets and performance incentives.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Commercially minded and results-driven.
- Must be a resident of Abuja and have good knowledge of the Abuja market.
Salary
- N250,000 monthly
- Performance Incentive: Up to N150,000
