As the Airfreight Operations Supervisor, you are responsible for providing seamless operational excellence for our clients from origin to destination collaborating across our branches in Nigeria. This role requires excellent hands-on skill in coordinating operational processes to maintain optimum service rendered across our branches.

Coordinate from end-to-end the process and delivery of cargo transported by Air.
Pay close attention to freight conditions, delivery, updates, and any other concerns raised by clients while trying to ensure excellence in service delivery.
Liaise with key stakeholders to include customers, drivers, and other employees daily to ensure operational excellence.
Ensure continuous analyses of operations processes and coordinates with sales and customer service departments to get the best out of all the requisitions being handled.
Intensively manage the process of cargo movement from origin to various destinations including the logistics of moving the cargo, creation of documents to ease the movement, dealing with the customer service requirements of the clients at every point.
Work closely with Pricing and commercial team in conjunction with the sales team in ensuring accurate information is communicated with the goal of boosting up sales.
Manage the creation of airway bill to facilitate the movement of cargo at every point.
Work closely with the Customer Success team to handle all of the customer requirements in dealing with the shipper, supplier, consignee and any other agents or forwarders involved in the shipment.
Manage the audit process of the airway bill to ensure that the correct rates are accurately populated in our airway bill.
Create cargo on hand reports and transmission of such reports to customers to keep them advised of their inventory.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferably in Transport/Logistics Management.
Should be comfortable with air freight clearing operation with minimum of 5 years experience
Must have a strong network with agencies and authorities at the airport.
Demonstrate capabilities for operational excellence while being customer-centric.
Passionate about teaming up with technology experts to build a tech-based air freight solution.
Come with existing network of trucking service provider for highly cost-efficient last mile delivery.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be committed to continuous improvement and personal development.
Deep understanding of the Nigerian freight forwarding industry is an added advantage.
