Digicraft Ltd is building its internal Product & Development department. As a Senior Software Developer, you will lead the technical design and hands-on development of proprietary software products, focusing on integrating with ERP systems like Sage, while also mentoring junior developers.

You've proven your ability to lead technical design and development, especially within the .NET/C# ecosystem. In this role, you will be instrumental in launching Digicraft's internal product development efforts, translating product requirements into robust software. You will build and maintain critical integrations between Digicraft's products and various ERP systems, ensuring seamless automated business processes for clients. This isn't just a coding role; you'll set engineering best practices, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and troubleshoot complex production issues, directly impacting product reliability and performance.

What you'll do

Lead the design and development of in-house products, from architecture through to deployment.
Translate product requirements and designs from the Product Manager and Designer into working, well-tested .NET/C# software.
Build and maintain integrations between Digicraft's products and ERP enhancements/customization, including APIs and data exchange mechanisms for automated business processes.
Set and enforce engineering best practices, including code review standards, version control workflows, and documentation.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers within the team.
Work closely with QA to define testable requirements and resolve defects efficiently.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment with the Product Manager.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring reliability and performance for clients running automated workflows across products.
Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technical approaches appropriate to the wider product roadmap.

Requirements

You have at least 5 years of professional software development experience, including some experience leading or mentoring other developers.
You possess strong, demonstrable experience with the .NET Framework and C#.
You have experience integrating with or developing extensions for ERP systems (Sage 300c, Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
You are proficient with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
You have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design robust solutions to ambiguous problems.
You have a solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and security best practices within the .NET ecosystem.
You can communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including the Project Manager and clients.
You have a strong ownership mentality and can work with minimal supervision.
You have experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, using tools such as Jira.

Nice to have

Experience with web application development, including front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
Familiarity with API design, including REST and/or SOAP, particularly in the context of business process automation or ERP/financial system integration.
Understanding of business process automation, financial, payroll, or supply chain business logic.
