Position: Inspection Engineer

Contract Details:

As a contractor with MACDILLIONS GLOBAL ENERGY you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and gain valuable experience in the energy industry. This is a contract position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Inspection Engineer to join our this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our clients assets through inspection testing and evaluation. You will work closely with project managers and other engineers to develop and implement inspection plans and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Conducting inspections of equipment structures and facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
Performing non-destructive testing (NDT) and interpreting results to identify defects or potential issues
Developing and implementing inspection plans and procedures for new and existing assets
Collaborating with project managers and other engineers to identify and address potential risks and issues
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of inspections and test results
Providing technical guidance and support to project teams and other stakeholders
Participating in safety and quality audits and implementing corrective actions when necessary
Staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices are followed

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection and testing in the energy industry
Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards such as API ASME and NACE
Experience with NDT techniques including ultrasonic radiographic and magnetic particle testing
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
