You will serve as an 'editing factory of one' for VettedAI, consistently producing five publish-ready, short-form video clips daily from a rich library of event footage and interviews. This throughput-focused role is critical for generating leads through social content and ads.

We've optimized shooting, storage, and briefs, but we need one person whose entire job is to transform our content library into a consistent stream of published-ready clips — an 'editing factory of one'. This is a throughput role. If you thrive on the rhythm of shipping daily and want your edits to be seen across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, this role offers hybrid working flexibility and the chance to be central to a growing startup's content engine. This is not a role for editors who prefer to spend days polishing a single masterpiece.

What you'll do

Edit five publish-ready clips daily, including interview cuts, panel highlights, B-roll stories, product demo clips, and testimonial edits, from raw footage against provided concept briefs.
Ensure all clips are short and gripping, under 90 seconds (30 seconds is ideal), with strong hooks in the first three seconds and captions for muted viewing.
Maintain a consistent brand look by adhering to brand templates, fonts, and colors.
Deliver finished clips to the posting queue every working day.
Identify and flag moments in raw footage that deserve their own clips, contributing ideas from your close proximity to the content.
Explore and implement AI-assisted video techniques (e.g., auto-captions, rough-cut selection, format resizing) to accelerate the pipeline while owning the final quality bar.

Requirements

You have a portfolio demonstrating your expertise in short-form edits, such as reels, TikToks, Shorts, or event recaps.
You can provide evidence of sustained, high-volume throughput, not just one-off standout pieces.
You are fluent in a professional video editor like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
You possess strong 'hook instincts' and understand how the first three seconds of a video determine engagement.
You are a reliable async communicator, capable of working independently and shipping without constant supervision or chasing.

Motion graphics basics (titles, transitions, animated captions)
