Job Summary

We are currently seeking an exceptional Program Manager to lead the strategic design, coordination, and implementation of the hospital’s clinical, research, and outreach programs.
You will assist in the initial build-out and operational setup of the hospital.
This role is ideal for someone resourceful, organized, and ready to roll up their sleeves.

Position Overview

The Program Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of key hospital programs and services.
This person will be the operational engine behind our early success, ensuring that St. Ruth’s mission is translated into measurable action across departments.
You will work closely with the President, Director of Research, Medical Directors, development team, and international partners to ensure programs are impactful, evidence-based, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage implementation of clinical care, research, and community outreach programs.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, donor reporting, and impact evaluation.
Develop internal systems for monitoring program performance and service delivery.
Coordinate with hospital departments to ensure smooth, interdisciplinary operations.
Prepare proposals, progress reports, and program updates for donors and partners.
Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of program staff.
Identify opportunities for new partnerships and strategic growth.
Represent St. Ruth at professional conferences, donor meetings, and government forums.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field (required).
Master’s degree in Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or related field (plus)
2 - 5 years of program management experience in a health, research, or nonprofit setting.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and high-impact projects.
Exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Passion for mission-driven work and equity in healthcare.
