Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Communications, Law, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Communications Expert: Exceptional writing, presentation, and media-interview skills; adept at crafting persuasive narratives.
Strategic & Networked: Proven ability to navigate government, media, and community channels; strong political and regulatory acumen.
Collaborative Influencer: Skilled at building cross-functional partnerships and leading diverse teams.
Crisis-Ready: Calm under pressure with demonstrated crisis-management experience and sound judgment.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

Government & Regulatory Affairs: Develop and maintain relationships with federal, state, and local regulators; monitor legislative developments; advocate the company’s interests on policy matters (e.g., excise, environmental, trade).
Public & Media Relations: Craft and execute a proactive media strategy; manage press releases, thought-leadership content, and crisis communications to maintain an authentic, positive brand image.
Corporate Social Responsibility: Design and oversee CSR programs aligned to community needs—agricultural support, water stewardship, youth employment, ensuring measurable social impact.
Internal Communications: Lead employee engagement communications—newsletters, town halls, intranet content—to foster a cohesive culture and clear understanding of corporate objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build partnerships with industry associations, NGOs, community leaders, and suppliers; represent the company at public forums and trade bodies.
Reputation Management: Monitor brand sentiment, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation plans to protect corporate reputation during operational or public policy challenges.
