Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive NYSC Intern with an accounting background to support our finance and administrative operations.
The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and supporting day-to-day accounting tasks, while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Record and process daily financial transactions
Assist in the preparation of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
Support bank reconciliation and petty cash management
Help maintain accurate ledgers and filing systems
Assist with payroll calculations and staff payment records
Support the finance team during audits and financial reporting periods
Track and document expenditures for internal reporting
Liaise with vendors regarding payment confirmations and reconciliations
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications

Currently serving NYSC member with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho books)
Good analytical and numerical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
