Job Summary

The IT Personnel is responsible for managing and securing the bank's digital infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations of banking systems, and supporting digital banking solutions. We are looking for a qualified Tech Support Officer to join our IT team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for hardware, new technology, networking, and applications.
This role requires vast knowledge in different operating systems, proficiency in Microsoft/Office 365, and all related applications.
Proficiency in use of different core banking applications s will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain the bank's IT systems, hardware, software, network infrastructure, servers, and databases.
Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place to protect customer and bank details.
Support digital banking platforms, including mobile and online banking services.
Provide IT support to employees, including technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware and software issues.
Implement and upgrade technology solutions to improve banking operations.
Stay updated with the latest technology trends and provide support for new technology implementations.
Offer networking support, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network systems.
Support and maintain different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and Microsoft/Office 365 applications.
Document technical issues and resolutions to build a knowledge base.
Train staff on new technologies and software applications.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop strategies for improving IT services and support.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures and maintain a high level of security for all IT systems.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on support activities, issue resolution, and system status.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in IT support, networking or system administration.
Proficiency in database management, cybersecurity and networking.
Experience with banking software and fintech solutions is an added advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills.
