Job Description

As their trusted partner, Urielsprout is assisting in finding a professional and personable Hotel Receptionist to be the face of their establishment.
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a pivotal role in ensuring their stay is memorable and seamless. This position requires a mix of customer service expertise, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

Warmly welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out processes.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
Ensure the front desk area is well-organized and presentable at all times.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Prior experience in customer service or front desk roles (1-2 years preferred).
A background in hospitality or tourism is advantageous.
Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Professional grooming and appearance standards.
A commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and MS Office.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
A problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude.
Fluency in [English] (additional languages are a plus).
