Job Summary

The IT Specialist Intern will support the IT department in providing technical assistance, managing systems and networks, and assisting with IT-related projects.
The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of prior experience in IT roles (even freelance or volunteer work counts) and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for software, hardware, and network issues.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot potential issues.
Assist in documenting technical processes and creating user guides.
Support the team in executing IT projects and deployments.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to resolve tech challenges.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with procurement processes.

Requirements

1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems, or related roles.
Foundational knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking tools.
Excellent soft skills – communication, teamwork, adaptability, and customer service orientation.
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team success.
Relevant certifications are an added advantage.
