Guest Experience & Hospitality Coordinator (Remote)

Role Overview

Purveyors of Leisure is seeking a fast, responsive, and tech-savvy Guest Experience & Hospitality Coordinator to support our boutique hotels, vacation rentals, and estate properties. This remote role combines guest service with operational coordination. You will manage guest communications, resolve issues, monitor property readiness and smart-home systems, and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and field teams. The ideal candidate is hospitality-minded, highly organized, comfortable switching between tasks, and able to maintain accuracy and urgency across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Communications & Hospitality Operations

• Manage guest communications across PMS platforms, booking channels, phone, email, and messaging systems.
• Support guests from booking through check-in, their stay, and departure with warm, professional, personalized service.
• Monitor and respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and operational communications.
• Anticipate guest needs, manage expectations, and provide a welcoming hospitality experience.
• Adapt your communication style to different guests, property owners, clients, and situations.

Guest Issue Resolution & Escalation

• Troubleshoot and resolve guest concerns, access issues, maintenance needs, and property-technology problems promptly.
• Use available systems, tools, and resources to resolve issues independently whenever possible.
• Identify issues requiring leadership, owner, or field-team involvement and escalate them with accurate details.
• Remain calm, resourceful, courteous, and professional during urgent or difficult situations.

Property Readiness & Operational Audits

• Conduct daily digital property-readiness audits before guest arrivals.
• Verify that cleaning, turnovers, check-in information, and other arrival requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Confirm properties are clean, functional, and ready for guest check-in.
• Track unresolved readiness issues through completion and communicate delays promptly.

Smart Home & Property Technology Monitoring

• Verify smart locks, access codes, thermostat settings, and other automated property systems.
• Monitor applicable property technology and identify issues that may affect the guest experience or property readiness.
• Use property-access and smart-home systems responsibly, and escalate technical issues when necessary.

Task Assignment & Field-Team Coordination

• Assign and track tasks with housekeeping, maintenance, and field teams through completion.
• Follow up on open tasks and prevent operational issues from remaining unresolved.
• Maintain accurate internal communications about urgent issues, delays, and outstanding tasks.
• Switch rapidly between guest, property, and team-support tasks while maintaining accuracy and urgency.

Systems & Technology

Experience with hospitality technology is strongly preferred, including:

• PMS: Guesty, Cloudbeds
• Booking channels: Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia
• Operations: Slack, Google Workspace, GoHighLevel, Market MySTR
• Smart locks, thermostats, automated access, and other property technology

Required Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of hospitality, vacation-rental, hotel, guest-service, or customer-support experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Warm, professional, confident, hospitality-first guest communication.
• Strong active-listening skills and the ability to understand guest needs quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Highly responsive, organized, and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple properties and systems.
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn and navigate new platforms quickly.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and know when to escalate an issue.
• Ability to manage rapid task switching while maintaining accuracy and urgency across channels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting boutique hotels, vacation rentals, estate properties, or concierge-style hospitality services.
• Experience coordinating remote housekeeping, maintenance, dispatch, or field teams.
• Familiarity with channel managers, reservation systems, PMS platforms, and automated guest-messaging systems.
• Experience with smart-home technology and automated property-access systems.

Schedule & Work Requirements

• Work setup: Full-time remote
• Time zone: Pacific Time
• Schedule: Based on company operational needs.
• Flexibility: Hospitality is a seven-day-a-week operation. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when scheduled is required.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet and professional workspace, and consistent responsiveness during scheduled shifts are required.

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $3.75–$5.75 USD per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Benefit: 13th month pay.

• Open operational issues are tracked through resolution.
• The coordinator can switch rapidly between competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy, responsiveness, or the guest experience.
