Deputy Director Sales

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Increase / maintain COMPANY market share in own category.
• To Develop and execute an aggressive sales strategy to achieve hyper-growth targets with YoY revenue increase
• Leading direct and indirect sales channels, including Export, retail, e-commerce, and distributor networks, to maximize penetration and volume.
• Driving a performance-driven sales culture, setting ambitious KPIs and ensuring accountability across teams.

Commercial Strategy:

• Shaping the brand’s Route-to-market approach, identifying untapped opportunities in the FMCG landscape.
• Build and refine pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies to outmaneuver larger competitors while maintaining profitability.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and market share.
• Address client issues and concerns promptly and effectively.

Market Disruption:

• Positioning Company brand as a bold challenger by leveraging consumer insights, trends, and agile decision-making.
• Oversee Company product portfolio expansion, working with marketing and R&D to launch high-velocity SKUs that capture market share.

Team Building: Team Leadership and Management:

• Practice Authorization Management , and empower team to take timely /good decisions for their scope.
• Ensure right practices / proper controls to eliminate misconducts withthin the team to limit potential losses to company
• Recruiting, training of team members, and inspire a top-tier commercial team, fostering a excellence in execution.
• Mentoring sales managers and key account leaders to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Data-Driven Growth: Sales Operations and Reporting:

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Sales Function presentation by the BC Sales Heads for the Monthly Business Reviews ( MBR ).
• Utilize sales analytics, market data, and consumer behavior insights to optimize strategies and forecast demand.

Sales Budget Management:

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Annual Sales Function Budget submission (Annual / Half year adjustment) by the BC Sales Heads.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of January and July Financial Analysis submission (Annual / Half year adjustment) by the BC Sales Heads.

Digitization in Sales Management:

• Using digital tools (SFA) Sales Automation Force to fundamentally change the present sales team’s operation focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.

Sales Management of New businesses

• Establish Route to Market for the new businesses as directed by the Management.
• Expanding customer base in new area’s and proposing specific market campaigns to the marketing team.
• Any other Tasks assigned by COMPANY Group Management, as and when required, based on business situation to bring efficiency to support the business

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree in Marketing or relevant Discipline with 12 to 16 years of experience in Beverages and Food setting only.
• Candidate on current role of Assistant Director or Group Head or Regional Business Head Level will be good for this role.
