Mill Planner - Feed Mill Plant

Job Summary

  • Plan, coordinate and monitor feed mill production activities to ensure optimal plant utilization, efficient resource deployment, product availability and timely delivery of production targets in line with demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate production plans and schedules across all SKUs to achieve On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Plan and optimize the utilization of raw materials, packaging materials, manpower, equipment and production capacity.
  • Ensure availability of required materials and resources before production schedules are executed.
  • Coordinate shift schedules and monitor production progress, output, quality, downtime and adherence to plan.
  • Identify and resolve production constraints promptly to minimise delays and operational disruptions.
  • Track material consumption, production yield, variances and finished-goods output; prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate production posting in SAP/ERP.
  • Liaise with Maintenance to incorporate equipment maintenance requirements and resolve production-related breakdowns.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with product specifications and consistency.
  • Support 5S, HSE and safety compliance, including reporting unsafe acts, conditions and near misses.
  • Monitor manpower requirements, support performance management and maintain effective communication across production teams.
  • Ensure production plans align with sales forecasts, inventory requirements and overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc./B.Eng. in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Production Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a feed mill, manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Remuneration

  • Salary N190,000 – N220,000 Monthly
  • Paid Leave Allowance
