Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, ECG and Ultrasound examinations as required.
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images and ensure accurate image documentation.
• Adhere strictly to radiation protection,safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Perform basic equipment checks, report technical issues promptly, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement of imaging services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Radiography from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license/registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Demonstrable knowledge/experience in Ultrasound, ECG and X-ray is required.
• Previous experience in a diagnostic center or hospital is preferred.
• NYSC discharge certificate is required

Requirements & Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and good patient-handling skills.
• Sound understanding of radiation protection andsafety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage patient workflow efficiently.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous professional development
