Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction industry.
- Promote and sell the company’s construction chemical products and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, distributors, and other key clients.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand project requirements and identify sales opportunities.
- Prepare quotations and proposals, and follow up to convert opportunities into sales.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on prospects and existing accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new project opportunities.
- Work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure effective customer service and order fulfilment.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and maintain accurate sales activity reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction chemicals, construction, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in technical sales, B2B sales, or client-facing engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Commercially driven and target-oriented.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant sales/CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
- Must be able to commute conveniently to Ikeja, Lagos.
Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate is a Civil Engineer who understands construction but also enjoys selling, networking, negotiating, and winning clients.
- This is not a purely technical nrsite-based engineering role.
Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 per month.
