Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Male Chef to manage the daily meal preparation for our staff and management at our manufacturing facility in Ode Remo.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high culinary standards, ensuring kitchen hygiene, and preparing hygienic, nutritious, and delicious meals in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals (breakfast and lunch) for staff and management in accordance with company schedules and hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are maintained across all kitchen and dining areas.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, track food supplies, and compile shopping lists to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions and special meal requirements when necessary.
- Collaborate with administrative and facility teams to manage canteen operations smoothly.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven professional cooking experience, preferably within a corporate, industrial, or hospitality setting.
- Deep knowledge of local and continental cuisine, food safety regulations, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prepare meals in large quantities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good personal hygiene and a professional demeanor.
- Residency or willingness to relocate around Ode Remo, Ogun State, or immediate environs.
