Tally Accountant

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records for agro-allied operations.
- The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP software, solid accounting knowledge, and familiarity with financial processes in the agro-allied, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records using Tally ERP.
- Prepare, verify, and post accounting entries for sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers regularly.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
- Track inventory and ensure proper valuation in coordination with store and production teams.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Support statutory compliance including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial records and company information.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in agro-allied, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (or newer versions) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
