Senior Quality Control / Quality Assurance Engineer

Summary
- The ideal candidate must have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within civil construction, particularly warehouse, factory, and road construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans for construction activities.
- Inspect construction materials, workmanship, and completed works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct quality inspections and tests at various stages of construction.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Review technical drawings, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformities, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, test records, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and project management to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor concrete works, structural works, road construction, and other civil engineering activities to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved procedures and project quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within civil construction.
- Proven experience in warehouse, factory, and road construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and testing methods.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available for immediate employment and ready to work at the project site in Shagamu, Ogun State.
Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
