Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and committed to helping students understand Biology through engaging lessons, practical learning, and real-world applications.
• You will play an important role in nurturing students' curiosity about life sciences while creating a supportive, interactive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology effectively across senior secondary school levels.
• Prepare well-structured lesson plans, instructional materials, practical activities, and assessments.
• Make Biology engaging by connecting classroom concepts to real-life applications and everyday experiences.
• Encourage students to develop critical thinking, scientific reasoning, problem-solving, and practical skills.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
• Prepare students for relevant internal and external examinations.
• Maintain effective classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
• Participate actively in school activities, staff meetings, academic programmes, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc./B.Tech in Biology, Biological Sciences, Education, or a related field.
• A PGDE, M.Sc., M.Ed., or other relevant higher qualification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Biology and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts and make lessons engaging.
• Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire, motivate, and bring out the best in students.
