Mason

Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, floors, and other structures. Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Measure, cut, and shape masonry materials using appropriate hand and power tools. Prepare and apply mortar, grout, concrete, and other bonding materials. Construct and repair masonry structures, including retaining walls, drainage channels, culverts, pavements, and foundations. Install precast concrete units, kerbs, paving blocks, and related structural components. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of masonry work. Repair damaged masonry, cracks, and structural defects as directed. Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and materials. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications. Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report unsafe conditions, defective materials, or equipment issues to the Site Supervisor. Assist with loading, unloading, and handling construction materials when required.
