Job Overview
- A private specialist medical facility in Kano is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Hospital Housekeeping Supervisor.
- This role bridges corporate-level hospitality presentation with rigorous medical sanitation. You will manage the housekeeping team, enforce infection control protocols, and ensure clinical and administrative areas remain pristine 24/7.
Core Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and train room attendants and janitorial staff on clinical cleaning procedures.
- Quality Control: Inspect patient wards, private rooms, operating theatres, and public spaces daily for absolute cleanliness.
- Infection Control: Enforce strict compliance with medical waste disposal protocols and chemical dilution safety standards.
- Inventory Control: Track and manage stocks of linens, personal protective equipment (PPE), and industrial cleaning supplies.
- Facility Coordination: Identify and report maintenance faults or broken equipment immediately to the maintenance department.
