JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Driver is responsible for driving an assigned vehicle to transport the Chief Executive Officer, and their duties occasionally involve performing manual tasks such as assisting with the loading or unloading of tools and/or supplies, as well as maintaining simple records.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive vehicles safely, following the highway code, considering road and weather conditions, and being courteous to other employees.
• Appear well-groomed, professionally representing the company.
• Deliver the assigned vehicle on schedule to an agreed location, as agreed upon and requested.
• Return collected vehicles to base, completing the necessary paperwork
• Provide customer service to the client, demonstrating vehicle features and controls, explaining and completing the necessary administration.
• Maintain vehicles' roadworthiness, completing the necessary paperwork and documentation for mileage, amongst others.
• Achieve objectives and targets set, if any.
• Carry out reasonable tasks as requested by your line Manager.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrable experience within a similar role in a professional environment.
• Ideally, experience of driving different makes and models of vehicles, including HDV, is an added advantage.
• Hold a current Valid Driving Licence and ideally have an advanced driving qualification.
• Face-to-face customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of car maintenance.
• General knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and controls.
• Good Lagos geography covering towns and road network.
• Confident, safe, and responsible driver.
• Observant with excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, able to give instructions and explain basic vehicle controls and appropriate paperwork.
