Customer Service Officer

Job Summary
- We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our client’s IT firm.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to customer inquiries, resolving complaints, providing information about the company’s products and services, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- The desired candidate must have experience in customer service, client support, help desk, or a related role, preferably within an IT or technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone calls, emails, chats, and other communication channels.
- Provide accurate information about the company’s products, services, and solutions.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Escalate technical or complex issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Assist customers with basic product or service-related issues.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate recurring concerns to the relevant team.
- Prepare regular reports on customer inquiries, complaints, and service activities.
- Maintain a professional and customer-friendly approach at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND / BSC in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service, client support, help desk, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Ability to handle difficult customers professionally and patiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
- Ability to learn and explain technology products or services effectively.
- Must be organized, proactive, patient, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
