Job Summary
- At Elders Group, the receptionist is the first point of contact and sets the tone for how clients, investors, and stakeholders experience the company.
Responsibilities
Core Front Desk & Admin Duties:
- Welcome visitors professionally: board members, investors, clients, vendors, job applicants.
- Manage calls: Answer, screen, and route calls to executives / departments, and take accurate messages.
- Front desk management: Maintain visitor log, issue visitor tags, announce guests.
- Mail & courier: Receive, sort, and dispatch letters, parcels, documents.
Corporate & Stakeholder Support:
Board / Meeting Support:
- Coordinate meeting room bookings for executives and board meetings.
- Prepare meeting rooms: water, stationery, projector, ensure neat setup.
- Welcome stakeholders and direct them during events like the quarterly board meeting.
- Represent the brand: Maintain Elders Group’s professional, warm, and respectful image - in line with our values.
ICT & Office Coordination:
- Update company details: Help ICT team ensure new office address is correct on website, Google Business, email signatures, letterheads.
- Handle enquiries: Provide information about Elders Group services, office location, and contacts.
- Support admin tasks: Filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry, managing office supplies.
Safety, Finance & Customer Care:
- Safety & Protocol:
- Log all visitors for security purposes.
- Alert management of any safety concerns.
- Payments: Receive and issue receipts for minor payments where needed, forward to accounts.
- Client care: Handle complaints politely and escalate to the right department.
Key KPIs
- Professional first impression for all visitors.
- Zero missed calls / messages.
- Accurate visitor and mail records.
- Support for smooth office operations at the new Ogba location.
Requirements
- Qualifications: OND / HND / BSc Degree in Business Admin, Mass Comm, or related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication, Microsoft Office, good phone etiquette, presentable.
- Experience: 1-3 years in a corporate environment preferred.
- Personality: Proactive, organized, discreet, and comfortable working with executives, investors, and board members.
Salary
N80,000 - N85,000 / Month.
