Job Summary
- A reputable insurance company is seeking a Junior Credit Control Officer to join its Finance & Accounts team
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor premium receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Issue payment reminders and statements of account to clients and brokers.
- Reconcile customer and broker accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate debtor records and ageing schedules.
- Prepare weekly and monthly receivables reports.
- Respond to payment-related enquiries and support the resolution of customer disputes.
- Support debt recovery, audit, and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 0–2 years’ experience in credit control, receivables management, accounting, or finance.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Basic accounting and financial reconciliation knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is an added advantage.
- ICAN or other relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
