Role Summary
- The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting the company’s products or services, identifying new customers, managing client relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets within Kaduna and surrounding areas.
- The ideal candidate must be confident, persuasive, target-driven, and able to convert prospects into paying customers. The role requires strong field sales ability, customer engagement skills, and the discipline to follow up on leads until deals are closed.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers through field visits, referrals, cold calls, networking, and market research.
- Promote and sell the company’s products or services to individuals, businesses, institutions, and corporate clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and active customers.
- Explain product/service benefits clearly and professionally to customers.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and sales updates where required.
- Negotiate sales terms within approved company guidelines.
- Follow up with prospects and customers to close sales and encourage repeat business.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to improve retention.
- Collect customer feedback and report market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to management.
- Meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer contacts, leads, and closed deals.
- Represent the company professionally in the market and at business events.
Key Performance Indicators
- Number of new customers acquired.
- Monthly sales target achievement.
- Value of sales closed.
- Number of leads generated and followed up.
- Conversion rate from prospect to customer.
- Customer retention and repeat purchases.
- Timely submission of sales reports.
- Quality of customer relationships and market feedback.
Key Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer acquisition, or business development.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Good knowledge of the Kaduna market and surrounding business environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily field sales activities.
- Must be confident, disciplined, resilient, and result-oriented.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use WhatsApp, email, Excel, or simple CRM tools for reporting.
- Must be resident in Kaduna or willing to work in Kaduna.

Compensation
- Salary: N50,000 - N80,000 monthly
- The role offers a competitive base salary, commission, and performance-based incentives.
Commission and Incentive Structure:
- Monthly commission based on confirmed sales closed.
- Additional incentives for exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Performance bonuses for bringing in high-value customers or repeat business.
- Possible transport/field allowance depending on company policy.
- Recognition and growth opportunities for consistent top performers.
