Description
- The Human Resource Officer oversees company's workforce and manages all major part of employee lifecycle
- While responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, attendance monitoring, documentation and ensuring compliancewith human resource policies and processes
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Hiring: Attracting, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates to fill open positions.
- Employee Relations: Resolving workplace conflicts, mediating disputes, and supporting positive staff communication.
- Training and Development: Organizing programs to help workers improve their skills and grow in their careers.
- Performance Management: Overseeing appraisals, setting goals, and tracking employee output.
- Compensation and Benefits: Managing pay structures, insurance, and worker perks.
- Policy and Compliance: Ensuring company rules match local labor laws and maintaining safe working conditions
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years experience in HR and administrative functions.
- Experience in logistics, courier, transportation, or service-based operations is an added advantage.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, HRPL, or related certification) is an advantage
Essential Skills Needed:
- Organization: Handling multiple tasks and keeping precise worker records
- Problem-Solving: Fair conflict resolution and smart decision-making.
- Leadership: Guiding teams and advising other company leaders on staffing choices.
- Communication: Clear speaking and active listening to handle staff concerns.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
