Reader / Associate Professor (Community / Public Health Nursing)

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant discipline and at least ten (10) years of teaching, research, community service and professional experience in a university or other tertiary institution.
• They must have substantial publications in reputable local and international journals, evidence of postgraduate supervision, capacity to initiate and develop research, academic leadership and administrative experience.
• Candidates must normally have served as Senior Lecturers for at least three (3) years.
• Registration with the relevant professional body, where applicable, is compulsory.

Salary and Conditions of Service

• Salary, allowances, and other benefits (including the contributory pension scheme) are approved by the Governing Council of Achievers University, and are favorably compared with what obtains in other public and private universities.
• Candidates are also entitled to productivity bonuses, subject to terms and conditions.
