Librarian

Description

• The University Librarian will oversee the university library system and coordinate library services across campuses, faculties, departments and research units.

Requirements

• A First Degree and a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science.
• Registration with the relevant professional library association or body.
• A rank of Reader or Deputy University Librarian and above, with at least 15 years of continuous public service experience, including 10 years in a university library.
• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• Evidence of research contributions and publications in reputable journals.
• Experience in library automation, ICT proficiency, good communication skills and high integrity.
• Must not be older than 65 years by 12th April 2027.
