Job Summary
- The Dispatch Rider is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and collection of documents, parcels, products, and other company items.
- The role involves ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect parcels, documents, and other items to and from designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods according to assigned schedules.
- Obtain delivery acknowledgements, signatures, and relevant documentation from recipients.
- Verify items before dispatch to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain proper records of deliveries, collections, fuel usage, and mileage.
- Ensure the assigned motorcycle is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
- Conduct routine inspections and promptly report mechanical faults or damages.
- Comply with all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Handle company property and customers' items with care and professionalism.
- Assist with administrative errands such as bank transactions, document submissions, and procurement-related deliveries when required.
- Report delivery issues, delays, accidents, or security concerns immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.

- Delivery turnaround time.
- On-time delivery rate.
- Number of successful deliveries completed.
- Vehicle maintenance compliance.
- Customer satisfaction level.
- Incident/accident-free record.
- Accuracy of delivery documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC qualification.
- Valid Rider's Permit and driver's license.
- Proven experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or similar role.
- Good knowledge of local routes and road networks.
- Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to ride for extended periods.

Salary
N100,000 monthly.
