Location: Lagos Branch Employment Type: Full-Time Gender: Male Department: Technical/Repair Department Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and determine the cause of defects in electronic and electrical appliances.
- Repair and service electronic equipment and electrical appliances.
- Troubleshoot circuit boards, power supplies, wiring, switches, motors, transformers, and other components.
- Carry out component-level repairs where required.
- Use testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, soldering irons, power supplies, and other workshop tools.
- Test repaired appliances thoroughly to ensure they are safe and functioning properly.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
- Identify components that need replacement and communicate repair requirements to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain proper records of appliances received, faults identified, repairs carried out, and parts replaced.
- Ensure all repairs are completed neatly, safely, and according to company standards.
- Maintain and properly use company tools and equipment.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Assist customers or branch staff with basic technical explanations when necessary.
- Escalate complex or major faults to the Technical Manager when required.
- Perform other technical duties assigned by management.
- Attend to Aftersales issues.
- OND, HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years' practical experience in electronics and electrical appliance repairs.
- Demonstrable experience repairing different types of electronic devices and electrical appliances.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, electronic components, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand basic technical manuals.
- Practical experience with soldering, testing, component replacement, and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to use other electrical/electronic testing equipment effectively.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet repair deadlines.
