Liaison Officer

Who We Are

We are supporting a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company in sourcing a strategic and resourceful Liaison Officer to strengthen their regulatory, governmental, and client-facing engagements in Abuja. This role is pivotal in driving compliance, market intelligence, and business development through stakeholder management and regulatory coordination.

What You Will Do

Strategic Liaison & Government Relations

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key government agencies including NCDMB, NUPRC, NUIMS, the National Assembly, and other parastatals.
  
• Monitor and interpret government/industry policy shifts and ensure the company is fully aligned with regulatory requirements.
  

Business Intelligence & Opportunity Tracking

• Leverage insider knowledge and networks to track upcoming tenders and project opportunities.
  
• Collect and analyze intelligence on competitor activities and market trends to inform company positioning and strategy.
  

Stakeholder Engagement & Nigerian Content Development

• Manage Nigerian Content compliance and ensure effective collaboration with regulatory bodies like the NCDMB.
  
• Represent the company in meetings with policymakers, regulators, and other stakeholders to promote business interests.
  

Support to Project & Business Development Teams

• Collaborate with Lagos and Port Harcourt-based teams on tender tracking and bid support.
  
• Offer insight and strategic recommendations to enhance business development outcomes.

Requirements

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
  

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in government liaison, regulatory affairs, or stakeholder engagement within the oil & gas or EPC sectors.

• Strong understanding of onshore and offshore oilfield operations.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email applications.
